Dear diary,

The season is here! The season of aesthetic expression where powerful minds gather from all around the world to flaunt the blooming creations to the universe. A fashion show is being organised by a group of gifted students from University Malaya. The fashion show was held at Lalaport which was adorned with floral decorations to welcome the guests with open arms. The fashion show will exhibit the 2024 new spring collections produced by the young designers who possess the gift of sewing strings into magnificent haute couture.

            The fashion show was filled with an elegant ambience consisting of well-known VIPs and photographers. The show was a full house, it was crowded with bodies of people until there were not enough places for people to sit down. Just to my luck, fortunately, I had purchased my ticket earlier through the website therefore I have chosen my dream seat which was near the stage. The lights dimmed; finally, the long-waited show started with the colourful lights scattered like petals around the venue. The runway lit up like glimmering stars as the models elegantly flaunted their walks on the catwalk. The dresses were breathtaking and it was radiating as flower bouquets. Once the show was done, the ushers escorted us to the reception which the aroma of tea permeated in the air along with the mouth-watering sandwiches at the end of the show.

            In fact, the show was an unforgettable with the effects of the lighting by the colourful flashing lights filled the venue when we were engulfed in the moment of darkness. The glowing white lights on the floors shimmered as glitters on the floor. The models were absolutely strutting throughout the show. It was definitely a splendid show however due to the lighting it is often difficult to see the details on the dresses.

            On the other hand, it was astonishing to see the young designers’ ideas prosper from drawings to dreams. They were blessed to be given the opportunities to meet the VIPs whom could give them the growth to be potential fashion tycoons. However, their opportunities would have going on a downfall due to the poor organisation and management if they did not get their feet back up. The controversial lighting effects did not do justice on the dresses but in spite of that the show went well. It was quite interesting but it could have been better.

            Overall, the event was just something unexpected in a good way. However, they should work on their management and sort out their lightings because it could cause a distraction from the dresses that is out of this world. I gain inspiration into creating dreams to be shown to the world.
