"I gave my blood, sweat and tears for this" - You're on your own kid.
The part that you are on your own is present whenever you tried to do something for the better, but it goes unnoticed by the others until we stop bothering about it. The care for the work just diminishes after the society could careless about our strengths. Once we have killed of the source of the killer, the passion to improve ourselves thrives through that negativity.
Here are the lessons that could be gained from the experience:
- Do the best you can because no one will appreciate your efforts;
- The efforts that you gave is for you to grow and learn to be stronger;
- Age should never be a reason to bring you down to the dirt;
- Be polite and it will torture them to the core; and
- People will reap what they sow.
The blood, sweat and tears are for you to realise that you can do better. It's better to move on peacefully when you have a difficult crowd especially when the society is not willing to listen. Being quiet does not mean you are weak, rather being bold knowing the situation is a lost cause for the other party. This is a reminder that you could do things better by exploring for more by quenching your thirst for knowledge regardless of the hurdles that may fall upon you.
